Air Pollution, Climate Change and Health – Connecting the Dots on World Pneumonia Day

Tune into this roundtable discussion focused on seizing opportunities to raise the profile of air quality and health within climate action planning. The discussion will feature representatives from healthcare, government and youth.

Following the discussion, there will be two presentations highlighting work in Jakarta, Indonesia and Indore, India to raise awareness about air pollution as a risk factor for pneumonia.

The call to action of this event is to include specific recommendations to jointly address air quality and climate to promote public health in country action plans.

The event will take place at COP26 on November 12 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM GMT.
